Remarks
The admission was based on the Delhi University cut-offs. I got admission to the second cut-off. The second cut-off for the course I enrolled in was 95%, so having scored 96%+, I was in. The cut-off was calculated based on the marks scored in the 12th standard in the subjects Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and a language subject. The admission process was smooth and easy. There were no problems. However, even if anyone was facing any problem, the staff and the professors admitting the students were friendly. The entire admission process was completed within 4-5 hours, including the time I had to wait for my turn. The impression of mine after visiting the college for the first time was amazing. It felt like I am in a prestigious University, which was true indeed. An important point I would like to mention was that we are made to fill an anti-ragging form, which is meant to avoid ragging of the freshers. That felt like a good gesture. If you clear the cut-off, you are in, smoothly, no worries!
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams have been on time always, and even the internals. They were conducted even during the covid times. And there's nothing special about the difficulty, you would easily pass it if you've studied sincerely, otherwise no chance to pass.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of internships are offered in this course as well. No need to worry about that. You could boost your skills via these and earn a good stipend as well. However, I personally haven't tried them yet. But can say that the positions offered are good.
Placement Experience
With this course, do not think much about the placements, at least until you complete your master's. Following the same, the placement for this course is not good. You could land on some organizations, but the salary and perks won't be that good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is something you could call minimal. You would pass your three years spending almost 50,000 in total. And the facilities are no less, being a college of DU. There are many scholarships available, but if you are from the general category, you have almost zero chances of availing of one, until and unless you do really extraordinary in academics. For the placements, there's a dedicated cell for it, which works actively. Even if you are not actively involved, you get emails about the new internships available and can apply using the links provided.
Campus Life
The annual fest is Kalrav, which is really awesome, and finds a huge crowd from the neighboring colleges as well. Apart from that, there are societies and organize their respective fests too. Also, each department celebrates its own fest with great joy. The college is well equipped with a three-floor library. Seems you could find any book you can think of! Each classroom has a whiteboard, projector, air conditioning, and all the necessary amenities one could find in a modern Indian classroom. If you're good at literature, we have a society called Kalamkaar! Similarly, we have societies for dancing, singing, acting. We do have a Robotics club as well and a club of members who are actively involved in space explorations. If you are good at sports, the college has a huge playground along with the indoor games well arranged.
