Remarks
I am currently pursuing my Graduate degree (B.COM) from School of Open Learning a.k.a SOL. I knew that I have to pursue CA Course as my mainstream career, so I was clear about the college I have to take admission to which was SOL. The admission process was far away very simple, I just went to their college on the north campus, Delhi. Filled the registration form and my application was processed. The fee structure there was simply that you have to pay around Rs. 3500 - Rs. 4000 annually depending upon the courses you take. For books, we have to go to university for carrying the books but it is all included in the registration cost. The minimum mark for the college was around 50% in class 12th.
Course Curriculum Overview
I knew I have to do CA, so I wanted to do a less difficult course, so I picked B.COM. In my university, there were around 35 students in class and different faculties for each of the subjects. The teaching method of teachers was simple as old school teachers, normally teaching the subject on the blackboard and detailing the provisions. My exams were not tough as I was pursuing CA, so I didn't found it difficult.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in my university were around Rs.3500 - Rs. 4000 per annum depending upon courses you select . I selected B.COM (PASS) so my fee structure was Rs. 3550 per annum . Currently I am in the third year of my graduation so I am not elegible for Job.
Campus Life
In our university, annual fests are being organized in which we all gather and participate in Games, Techs, etc. In the library, various types of books are available for journalizing, Improving English, and many more. Sports and extracurricular activities were not in our universities, which was a negative point for all of us. We all students and teachers have had a Class Group in which discussion of all the Exams and any other important information was shared.
