Satya Narayan Sabato's Review On NIST University, Berhampur

OJEE exam, NIST is one of the best college of our Odisha. I learned so many things from our college. Our college campus is so nice environment. It was so wonderful experience in my life.

Our college is under BPUT University and course structure also so good. We have 6 subject in every semester and 2 semester per years. all subjects are branch related. We had one management papers in every semester and all papers were so nice as per our branch. We had c,c++,java,DBMS and so on. I learned so many things in my engineering career.

Our college provide internship for +2 science students and robotics training for other college students. Also provide stipend to every outsider students who are coming for internship.The training duration is min 2 months and more.

Every year minimum 70-80 percent students are getting jobs during placements. Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Broadcom, Capgemini, TCS and so many companies are coming for placement. Companies are providing salary as per their industry i.e. min 3 LPA. We are getting training for preparing interviews. So we can give good performance at the time placements.

Our college conduct two events every year i.e. one is SANKALP which is national level tech fest and another is WAVES which is our college annual function. In SANKALP, there are minimum 50 competitions are conducted by final year students and so many students are coming for attend this event from all over India. And WAVES is our main cultural program which is conducted by our college.

Fee Structure is little-bit expensive- For B.Tech students. Every year course fees,Transport facility and book is around 1.3 Lac per annual and Hostel fee is 50 thousands per years. In every year course fees will be change as per the course. For M.Tech students are stipend 3000 rs per month and 90000 thousand per years.

So many good Scholarship is giving to good students in every years and there is no loan facilities available.

Our College campus is so beautiful and so nice environment. We have so many clubs like Robotics club, Ethical Hacking club , Club Innova, Multimedia club and so on. We have sports facility like cricket, basket ball, football, table tennis and dance.

Hostel and food facilities is nice and Hostel fee is 50 thousands per years. We have minimum 10 Hostels for boys and girls which are available in our college campus and in Berhampur town. Minimum 700 students can stay in hostels. Over all facility is good for me.

We have 3 internal exams per semester and every internal exam duration is 2 hours and 100 marks. Semester exam duration is 3 hours and 70 marks. Every exam is conducted by our college with very strict rules. We cant ask a single answer to our friends and no body can disturb at the time of exam. Every years we are getting good results.

Our college faculty are so good and talented. Most of faculties are from NIT and IITans M.Tech pass outs and PHD. They are so strong knowledge in their subjects. All are students friendly and teaching style also so nice. They are providing nice notes and guide also. Our college per class duration is 100 min and per lab duration is 150 min. They teach us so patiently.
