Internships are decent

The admission in AIMT is based on entrance exam scores of CAT, CMAT, or CET conducted by GGSIPU. Students will have to apply for admission to GGSIPU through a link provided by the university, where they can select AIMT for admission. After that, the student needs to fill a form that is available on the AIMT website, then someone from the college management will get in touch with the student for further process. Later, shortlisted students are called for GD and PI.

AIMT offers specialization in these courses - Operations & Analytics, Marketing, Finance, HR, International Business, Information Technology. Most of our faculty are PhD holders, and we are often encouraged by faculty to ask questions. Also, students are assigned faculty mentors to help them out in their educational and personal life.

Internships are decent. As soon as the semester starts students are given enough opportunities to apply for various internship opportunities. The students are given the information via college mail IDs.

From the 3rd semester onwards, students are eligible for campus placements. From last year's records, the companies that come for placements are ITC, PUMA, Make My Trip, and many more. The college claims 100% placement records.

Fees for 2020- 22 batch is around 4 lakh for 2 years. We haven't paid hostel fees yet because we haven't got a chance to live there owning to the pandemic. If the student is not able to pay fees in time and gives a reasonable reason for that, the college gives enough time to pay. There are various scholarships provided by the college, for detailed information students can go through the college website.

Every month around 4-5 guest sessions are conducted where guests from corporate, alumni, and other people from various fields share their experience and make students aware of the ongoing scenario in the corporate world. There are various committees a student can apply for like, the CRC (placement committee), alumni, Digi bees (social media), etc.

Our batch hasn't got a chance to experience hostel life yet in AIMT. In the college brochure, it is mentioned that boys and girls have separate hostels, the entire campus has the access to the campus-wide network, has a gym, and as the hostels are inside the campus, the security is also good.

From what I observed, the topic for GD was based on the social issues that are needed to be addressed in society, to check student's knowledge & their thought processes. PI round was quite normal, where I was asked questions related to my graduation subjects, why I choose AIMT, my interest, and my future goals.
