Remarks

I had passed the 12th class with 70%, so I chose to go for a chartered accountant course so I had taken the decision to do college with Delhi University (SOL). I took admission in SOL by giving admission fees. I had not been applied to any other college because I am doing CA from ICAI.

I had taken admission in SOL for BCOM HONS because my stream was in 12th commerce so I had preferred to go in the commerce line. On the other hand, I had to do CA so this line is similar to this that's why I applied for it. Bcom Hons exam conducted annually (part1,2,3) annual mode when I took admission. it is not difficult for me because I studied all subjects in CA so it is easy to pass exams for me.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 3830 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure as follows - Part1:3830 Part2:3465 Part3:3365 I have no idea about the scholarship because neither I had not applied for it nor I enquire about it. It is an open learning college so there is no campus recruitment and also I have given my exam in June 2021 so I am waiting for my result and have no idea for a job with a stipend.

Campus Life

In the school of open learning, there is ssigned college to open students. Those colleges are known colleges. I had taken classes from Gurutake Bahadur Khalsa college. This college is one of the good colleges. There are too big playgrounds for their student's playground like for cricket, football, badminton, etc. Canteen food also was very tasty and yummy and too reasonable and affordable for students. Classes are too big there is the availability of projectors. I had not attended any fest and annual function because of my CA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
