My first most lengthy review of my college

First of all this college is very very near to my home and secondly I grew up seeing this college developing, it recently became an IIT and before that also it was used to be one of the most reputed college in the nation, also top quality education is being provided in this Institute since decades and is famous for mining related branches, the college also provides further exposure to future scopes in the field of technology and also all students; doesn't matter in which department they belong also get an exposure to all modern techniques and skills because of which it becomes easier after once we come out of the college, also the teacher student interaction and the senior junior interaction in this college plays a vital role in all round development of a student and nurtures the student for further industrial experiences. Last but not the least, being an IIT also gives some extra responsibility on the shoulders of the Institute and it's students as well so consistent performing and more exposure to productive things are encouraged. Infrastructure is compact, all facilities are provided. And overall a good learning environment is been given.

I always aspired to pursue my career as a mechanical engineer, but when my rank wasn't that much satisfactory to get mechanical engineering then I got to know about mining machinery, which is one of the most unique branches ever heard of and is moreover completely based in mechanical engineering and also is providing great knowledge in some specific fields as well. Teachers in this department are awesome, rather than just being strict and tough they are very much close to the students mostly and also encourage the students to explore more. All teachers are doctorate! And exams taken in this Institute are being conducted in a very compact manner professors ensures that complete understanding of the subject is there and hence the students who do understands clears the exam with ease. Talking Personally , it has always been easier for me to clear the exams as I am a regular in classes hence it takes less hard work.

Yeah, I have done 2 internships since 20191. Smartknower web developer intern2. VINCIIS design engineering internAlso I am the founder of Being artifex organization. The Institute strongly promotes new ideas and also brings huge opportunities of internship for the students.

Placements compared to other IIts are not that great we still have to work hard to reach that mark, but still in computer science sector many IT giants dominate and in core sectors also opportunities are there. It has also been observed that students after completing btech here go for higher studies or maybe they prepare for other entrance exams as well.

For general candidates who have a fair enough family income do not get any compensation. But yeah scholarships such as MCM scholarships and other scholarships are there as well for specific category students.

Campus life is awesome. Regular fests are always organised to make the students aware of the outside worls's ongoing. Not only cultural fests but technical fests are also being organized at a huge level where competitive environment could be seen also students from other colleges participate. Reputed competitions such as Inter IIT etc are also encouraged. Many clubs and socities are there for all kinds of students also sports and cultural activities are encouraged at regular basis.

Basically hostel + mess fess is around 15-20 thousand . Sanitation is ok level, also rooms are small but no complains because hostel is like hostel it cannot be assumed to be our homes. Food quality is good but honestly taste is not there, all time wifi is there also internet facility is good enough, toilets and washrooms are regularly cleaned and electricity problem never exists.
