Remarks

Good aspects : 1. Campus life is amazing! 2. Huge classrooms (The lecture hall complex is one of the finest architectures on campus) 3. Healthy competition (not all) 4. minimal restrictionsBad aspects: 1. Unhealthy competition(sometimes) 2. Bad hostel rooms (all other places have AC except rooms) Admission: Fun, lots of introduction games and stuff

Course Curriculum Overview

I love chemical engg, My uncle was a chemical engg (So i already knew this isn't about chemistry only lol) I love physics, math and also computer science, but the domain of chemical industries mostly inclined towards biomedicine intrigued me. Faculty: Mixed feelings, some are good some are not so good, but they all are very scholarly and happy to help if you get along wellstudent ratio: Sadly, we dont have a lot of girls on campus and the ratio is bad. (I hope the ratio becomes better in coming years)

I'm currently working as a intern at Dr Reddys labs (A leading pharmaceutical company), My profile is of data analytics, machine learning and AI. The internship opportunities are ample and the seniors here are helpful enough to guide you with the resources and stuff

Placements and jobs depend on the discipline or the course. CS has a lot of opportunities but other departments are also not too far behind. A lot of students here are very interested in Analytics, Tech and Consulting. The essence of engineering is very scarce, but if people want to do deep research, This is an amazing place as the faculties are very cooperative

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are bad, food again is okayish (not that great), We have a lot of foof outlets in campus and a night mess from 9 PM to 3 AM in different hostels. The accomodation fees is around 25K initially

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

My honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

M.Tech CSE IIT DELHI Review

I chose IIT Delhi because it has the best faculties and a strong alumni network. Besides this the research aspects here are better than other colleges. I had applied to IIT bombay, IIT Jodhpur, IIT madras and IIT kanpur but I got offer for IIT Delhi before all the other colleges.
