Remarks
As I pursued my Btech from IIT Madras, I was persistent to continue my MTech from the same institution. So, I took up the MTech CSE course at IIT Madras. As far as the general aspects of the institute. The institute is highly excellent in terms of Placement, academic excellence, global exposure, experiential learning experience, international collaborations and partnerships, qualified faculty, etc. My admission was purely done based on the last qualifying exams, GATE scores and I underwent the COAP counselling process for the selection process.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the MTech CSE programmes focuses on imparting knowledge about the coding, HTML, XML, AI, ML, JAVASCRIPT, DOTNET, etc. The faculty of IIT Madras are very knowledgeable and qualified. They provide a great deal of education to the students in the best possible way. They adopt business lectures, questionnaires, presentations, etc to teach the course concepts.
Internships Opportunities
The summer placements drive is conducted so that the students grab internship offers and understand the working environment of an organization. The internship program also offers incentives & stipends by the recruiters during the interview and final report is submitted by the companies on the performance of the students. If a student perfoms well in a internship program, then they'll be given a the permanent job.

The placement committee at IIT Madras is highly determined and committed to place the students in the best industrial organization. So, the Committee organises various mockup events to groom the students to be industry ready and future-ready. Some of the top recruiters at IIT Madras are Qualcomm, Intel, Samsung, Maxlinear, Sandisk, MediaTek, Redpine Signals, Analog Devices, TI, Cypress Semiconductor.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the BTech is INR 211,847 in total for a year and it is INR 4.18 lacs in total for 2 years. However, the institute has tie-ups with several banks, government agencies, and industry corporations who offer financial assistance and scholarships schemes to the students.
Campus Life
The IIT Madras campus is well-equipped and well facilitated with all the necessary facilities inside and outside the campus premises which enhances the students learning atmosphere. The environment is very peaceful and pleasant. The infrastructural facilities are smart classrooms with modern facilities, computer labs, finance labs, medical room facilities, well furnished auditorium, seminar halls, 24x7 Wi-Fi facility, library with a collection of online and offline books, etc.
