I appeared for WBJEE and i got a rank 15331,my college is known for its electrical engineering branch. There are well equipped modern labs and faculties are very experienced and highly educated.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, generally the software branches have opportunity to go for an internship and for the core companies you have to go on your own. For software branches college provides the many companies for internship.

Placement Experience

The placement is good for software branches but for core branches you have to work on your own to get placed by cracking gate.in software branches most of the students are placed in TCS and infosys, tcs and infosys visit the college for campusing. So its good for softwares strems students like cse, it, ece.

College Events

There are no of events celebrated in my college. Techno management festival we call it resonance cultural festival we call it SPANDAN. Sports day of three days all events include participants from different colleges so you will be always energetic if you go for it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are given to meritorious students and those students whose parents yearly income is below 70000. And loan facility is available for all the students.

Campus Life

Campus life is really very amazing.there are 1000 boys and 350 girls. We have a very good cultural society ,no racism,very less ragging,no politics,ours college own a very large lake and play ground ,there are individual courts for badminton, volleyball. Basket ball and foe football we have a large play ground.we have very good library facility.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
