Remarks
A curriculum that stands out from the rest of the MBA colleges. Its focus on quantitative topics such as time series analysis, simulation and modeling, etc. makes this a niche course. Apart from the curriculum, the college offers a great RoI given the low tuition fee and an average package of around 11lpa.
Course Curriculum Overview
The batch size is much smaller than other bschools. This can be a pro or a con, depends on you. The permanent faculty is really great, though the level of temporary faculty can be improved. The aspect where DFBE loses out on top tier B-Schools is infrastructure. Otherwise, DFBE offers great peer learning, amazing faculty, good placements and an affordable tuition fee (if that is a criteria you're considering).
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities, although limited, are offered by some really good brands. Companies like DE Shaw, Arcesium, ANZ, Barclays, American Express, Nielsen, Piramal, Valvoline, etc. hire interns regularly.
Placement Experience
Given the small batch size, there are plenty opportunities from campus. And apart from Campus placement, the alum network of DFBE is also very helpful for securing off-campus opportunities. The entire DFBE family feels a great sense of responsibility to look out for each other.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Tuition fee is around 12000 per year. Apart from the tuition fee, you'll have to pay for the examination fees and student body fund (optional). Examination fee is not that high while the student body fund goes somewhere around 50k per year or lower.
Campus Life
DFBE is fully student driven. From inviting companies for placements, to organizing conventions, seminars, alum meets and other events, everything is carried out by the students. The college offers plenty opportunities to students to participate in these activities through various clubs and committees.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel seats are limited, as is the case with any other DU college. The college isn't fully residential, so it can be a drawback for some. However, there are plenty of PGs available not too far away from the campus.
