LIBA is an old college and has a good reputation over time. It has a good infrastructure and it is a Jesuit college. Liba had a small batch size, situated in the heart of Chennai, almost 100% placements,

Its pgdm program is better than other program. They provide dual specialization from options like marketing, finance , operations, hr, BA. It has trimester system. So irk schedules will be hectic along with club activities.

Internships Opportunities

Deloitte, EY, bank of America, Britannia Asian paints etc are the big brands. Avg stipends is 10 thousands.

Placement Experience

With almost100 % Placements are decent with average CTC of 8 to 9 LPA and median of around 8 LPA. Some of the big brands are Deloitte Asian paints city bank city Corp wipro infosys Britannia kpmg Byjus etc. Mostly sales and marketing roles are dominant.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Not much scholarship options. Around 6.5 Lakhs as academic fees to be paid annually at once. SBI is providing entire amount as loan without any collateral. Placements every year is almost 100 percent and avg 8LPA CTC.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

The factors that drove me to get admission in LIBA are, LiBA is the best B shcool in South India with 100 percent placement and very good facilities & infrastructure aided by the theme 'excellence with ethics'. This university provides unique study pattern and amazing faculty network, who are all doctorates. Subject knowledge tests and application orientated activities are conducted and final consolidated scores are based on including all such activities. The usual pattern of examination is not followed, rather the institution instills practical knowledge which helps every student to build and upgrade their skills. I did my UG in the same campus (LICET). I have seen LIBA for entire four years of my UG. The Method of Teaching and Learning is quite different from any other B-schools and all the academic and cultural events are conducted and organized by the students itself, which helps to gain lots of experience and skills that is needed for an MBA graduate. The placement is also really good. I remember our Director Father telling "I won't sleep until I get you all placed in a Good Company provided you put in efforts from your side". The campus LIfe is Beyond Awesome. Our Director Father is a real enthusiast and the staff members are very friendly and welcoming for any suggestions or doubts.
