Decent option to go for with multiple opportunities.

Good aspects include the IIM brand, comparable placements with the years old private college, mentorship from IIM Calcutta, various visiting faculty from IIM Calcutta. Bad aspects include lack of infrastructure as the college is only 5 year old, the faculty is new . The college overall is good but to match the rapport of old IIM's it will take some time. T.I.M.E website, career launcher & rankings on different website to finalize the college keeping a futuristic mindset.

The MBA is the core programme offered by IIM Bodh Gaya. In this particular course, I decided to go for Finance & IT as the specialisation. Currently, the faculty to student ratios is about 1:13 & continuously increasing each year. All of the faculty holds PHD from premier MBA college from across the world. We have faculties with PHD from IIM Ahemdabad, IIM Shillong, IIM Lucknow, IIM Indore, IIT Madras, etc. The teaching methodologies includes a case based approach to provide practical application of concepts learnt from the book. The case studies is taken from HBR which is supported by daily assignments 2 projects multiple presentation & class participation as the marking criteria. In one term, we face multiple quizzes, mid term, end term, assignments, PPT's & projects. The schedule becomes very hectic because of continuous evaluation & the online education becomes more difficult given increased screen time of 16-17 hours a day. Given the reinforcement of particular concept multiple time, clearing exam is not a tough job & needs just revising concepts.

I appeared for several companies of my choice , it includes BNY mellon, shriram finance, Pramerica, Envint global, DSM group but i finally converted Let's transport an urban logistics company with a finance role in their collection team with the stipend of 20k per month.

Just after the internship, final placement season starts. From the perspective of baby IIM, placements are good. Multiple opportunities are provided to each students. Depending on the domain selected by students, they can sit for the companies, only condition is once you are placed you can't sit for the rest of the companies visiting the college. There's 100% placements, though few of the students not large in number say 4-5 are asked to opt out after they have exhausted a lot of opportunities. Yet, the assistance is provided to them unless they are placed. With each passing year we are seeing good no of increase in the no of companies.

This year the fee is increased by approx. 15%. But, our college provide need based financial assistance irrespective of category & completely on the basis of students financial condition & grades which can lead to reduction in fees by almost 50-90%. Other than that, there are several schemes of central government for the scholarship to OBC, SC-ST students of the college. Currently, I am pursuing my internship account receivable management in "Let's Transport" an urban logistics company started by IIT kharagpur alum, which is paying 20,000/month. I also had the opportunity to do another internship prior to this internship with "Benori knowledge" in the insights team with the stipend of 15,000 per month. For the next question, as compared to other IIM, our college has the lowest fee. The hostel charges are included in the fees but meals charges are needed to be paid each month which costs nearly 4500/- which is quite low for the offering that is provided.

We have 12+ clubs. I am the member of Data Science club, strategy & consulting club, finance club & the ebsb club. Over the year, the club remains active & there are a lot of quiz competitions organized in d2c platform for the students. Our annual fest "Elegante" Happens in the month of December. It includes sports like cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball, table tennis etc. Also each club needs to perform inter college competition in their respective domain. All the activities are done by students, no involvement is done from the faculty side. This year we had our first Tedex event. Also, first management conference.

All the hostels in IIM bodh gaya are single occupancy there are enough no of hostels to accommodate all students. Each hostel has water coolers, washing machine, a separate ground for playing, gym etc. The meal quality is quite good, currently the vendor serving our college is also serving IIM Kozhikode, IIT kharagpur, NIT's.
