Ashish Kumar Rath's Review On Trident Academy Of Technology, Bhubaneswar

I took the Odisha JEE exam where my rank was somewhere around 5000. I opted for this college because, it was highly rated after as B.Tech College in Bhubaneswar. And i got information from some of my school teachers that both campus and faculties were good.

Course curriculum was more or less set by the university. All colleges under it had hardly any say in it. The college only had the leverage to choose which subjects they wanted for particular semesters. The choice made by the college for the alternate subjects was quite good during my course.

No, My college doesn't provide any internships. It supports us whenever we ask them to allow us to go to some internships. But a lot of workshops and course facilities were arranged by the college. Students were provided a proper leaves if they requested for moving out on internships.

Placement in my college was quite good. I won't say it is the best among all. But in the city of Bhubaneswar as well as in Odisha trident maintains a good reputation for its campus percentage. Many top class companies come for placements. Along with it our college also encourages students to go for several pooled campuses.

We had a lot of functions and events throughout the year. Starting from sports, cultural and many more. Yearly there were certain cultural events and many outdoor and indoor sports events. Along with this there were certain technical and non technical (verbal) events also.

I have not idea about any loan facility. But good number of scholarships were provided by the university. The college used to encourage us to apply for them if we were eligible. Apart from that we also had a few scholarships that were provided by the college to encourage students in various attributes.

Campus life was quite sound. Gender ratio was also quite rational. And the diversity was wide. People had come from different states as well as different corner of Odisha. The labs were well maintained. Good equipment and faculties were quite good in the Labs. There were a wide range of extra curricular activities that took place through out the entire year.

Senior students were quite helpful during all the 4 years in my college. I won't comment for others here but me and my friends group had a good relation with our seniors. And at times they were very helpful.

The semesters date and structure were maintained by the university under which my college was present. But the internal exams and Lab tests were maintained by the college administration. The exams were so maintained that students did not run out of touch from studies and at the same time assures that it does not grow too much hectic for the students.

The faculty group of my college was something which I was proud of. It was a great set of young and experienced faculty members for all the branches of the college. The faculties were involved with us closely. And to be honest the young faculties were just so good that students hardly used to miss their classes.
