For joining UG programme there is no entrance and such things followed. Only scrutinized applications are brought into the selection list. The candidates are selected on the basis of many factors based on the admission panel of Loyola. It is unique. For PG admissions one must apply and get a call letter, which is a hall ticket for the PG entrance exam also.

The course curriculum is designed by the department panel and it is set and changed every three years according to need and trend outside. The curriculum is based on making the students eligible to face all the needs of the outside commercial and social world. All recent changes have been put regularly and experts decision are sort out by the curriculum panel.

Internship is part of the curriculum in Loyola, either in UG or in PG a student must supposed to get industrial experience according the department the student had chosen. Big companies will start to recruit students from the very starting of the academic year itself. All the top companies visit Loyola every year and recruit many number of students.

There are many events that happen in Loyola and all are student basis and friendly. Ovations is a inter departmental cultural event, which is biggest in India happens once a year in Loyola campus. Departmental fest is also conducted once a year, in which other colleges are invited and competitions are conducted.

Governmental scholarships and college scholarships are available for the deserved students in Loyola. It is designed and filtered by separate board of members. Loan can be availed by the bank, which is entirely decided by the student itself. Many classmates and students have benefited through this scholarship schemes.

Alumni student are contacted regularly about their placements and progress. They are contacted for a meeting once a year for the progress of the college and regularly contacted by the Alumni club of Loyola. With the help of alumni only the college have seen immense growth.

Every semester have two internal exams, which is continuous internal assessment and an external called Semester. Equal weight is given to all these assessment. Internal exam is conducted twice for 40+40 marks. 20 marks will be an assignment mode of evaluation decided by the course teacher of every subject. So the internal exams totals to 100.
