Remarks

The admission process is simple as university of delhi issues various cut off list for every college based on your 12th marks and if you are eligible just apply for that college.It issues many cutoffs until the seats are full in the college as I got the admission in the third cutoff list. So if you are eligible just go to that college with your 10th and 12th marksheet and ID, fill the admission form and apply. Then they will check your documents which will take some time and boom you got the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because i belong to a business family and i want to learn more about commerce and market structures. Faculty was very experienced and cooperative. The student was around 50-60 in 4 different sections. The term exam happenes in May for summer term and in December for winter term. If you study normal 7-8 hours for a exam you can easily pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Quite good number of companies and banks come for the internship program and offer good stipend under the relationship executive internship for building good relationship with their bank customers. As i was not the part of any internship i can't say anything more.

Placement Experience

Placement is quite good as so many companys visit the college in your final year of course to be precise from beginning of 6th semester. Companies like Google, Samsung, and various banks like Hdfc Bank, Icici bank etc offer average package of around 3-4 lakhs p.a. and the highest was 7lakhs p.a. Average 50% got the placement and others can pursue further study as I pursued M.com from University of Delhi.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is so economical as you just need to pay only 6-7k per annum for the course and the course duration is 3 years so you need to pay around 20k for the whole course.Yes there is also opportunity for the on campus job and internship as so many companys come to the college in your final year.

Campus Life

The social life is great as every year they host a fest in feb-march month in which they invite celebrities and playback singers from our film industry.And there is a full AC Library where you can get every type of book and journals.The croud also is so friendly. And there is football ground, basketball court, Tennis court and so many indoor games.There is also so many social group or clubs which you can join like Drama, Dance, Debate etc.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
