REVIEW- [NSUT], New Delhi

I have grabbed a seat in NSUT, Delhi by JEE MAINS rank by Jac Delhi counseling. I have got 88 percentile with 1.3L rank with OBC quota. I have achieved 86% marks in CBSE class 12th and min 75% marks in class 12th required for getting into NSUT.

The course curriculum here was thorough and informative. It is a treat for a student to get such a brilliant faculty because mostly all professors have done their M.tech and Ph.D. from reputed IIT and NIT. But as in engineering college, the student ratio is pretty sad i.e. 10:1 per girl to 10 boys. Exams are held in a beautiful planned manner there are 4 Short tests (STs) and 2 Long tests (LTs) in each semester.

After the 4th semester of college students got an opportunity for their internship in college for which they also got paid like google internship they paid 15000 per month for 6th-semester students. And if you have done any project work or have any achievement you can easily get preference in internship and placement program.

Placements of tech branches in NSUT are more than 90%. As most of the companies visited there are tech companies like Google, Infosys, Amazon, uber therefore placement of core branches is not as good as tech branches still student manages to get decent placement from college. For tech branches, the Highest salary package for last year was 78LPA and the average was 15LPA for non-tech branches average salary package was 8 LPA, and almost 75% students got placed from college itself.

Even having a 1.9L fee per year becomes affordable for poor students too because of scholarship programs running by institutes and the easy affordability of loans from college banks. CVSPK is a scholarship program running by the institute itself they provide tuition fees to the NFS cardholder and one with family income <8L per year. College also provides internships by which students after 2nd year got some money as a stipend.

The college life of NSUT is genuinely full of fun instead of containing a tough curriculum program we as students enjoy our college life because there is a student center, ground, societies, indoor game clubs, library, canteen, and a lot more things. The classroom of NSUT is damn advance there is a full-length display screen on the front wall and one podium from where whatever teacher writes or draws on his laptop will be displayed on the whiteboard there is one operator reserved for each class. Sports and extracurricular activities are in a very planned manner there is a society for each group and a team leader and vice leader are appointed in each group.
