Great Campus life and Experience.

The admission process was merit-based. Basically, you need to apply on the DU site for ug admission, and when the cutoff comes just select the college where you qualify and then apply for it. Take a printout and approach the college. Well, my admission was in 2019, so this was the procedure. The merit-based or the cutoff marks/percentage for my course is a combination of PCM percentages. While there is no such admission age but yeah you have to apply within 2 years after completing 12th.

Well, the course curriculum is very good. We have majors in physics, maths, and computer science. The main advantage of this course is we get to apply for masters with any of our majors. while as, the students of other Hons. courses get to apply for masters only with their specific disciplinary subject. Here for our course, the student strength is 57. However, some students do leave college or switch to some other courses with the subsequent cut-offs. So, we have 4 faculty teachers for every major we have. And they are really highly qualified and helps you too with your internships and placements. Some teachers are new while some are very old and experienced, the teaching method is, as usual, interactive and comprehensive. The term exams are fixed with the timing the odd sems exams start on the 12th of December and for even sem 1-2 week of May. The exams are not so tough it's decent and anyone can score marks in it.

In our college, the internships and placements are managed by the internship cell which is really very active. Every year around 200 companies come for placements and the internships go on every month of the year. The stipend is decent with an industry certificate and LOR. Moreover, sometimes our faculty helps us too to get an internship with the college itself like we were offered to manage our college website and that too was paid.

The placement of the college is good but as you know that BA or BSC. is not a professional course, so expecting a very good job is not possible but yeah we have a very active placement cell and many companies like Indigo, Wipro, Accenture come for placements. The complete details of placements are available on our college website which shows the maximum package of the students and no. of students who really got the job. Here, I am providing few details like last year 87 ug students and 170pg students got the job where the average salary of ug students is 3.87LPA and for pg it was 5.96LPA. The fee is overall for complete ug is approx 50,000. And it consists of all the expenses you are gonna have on your study in college life including the exam fees of each semester and stationery items including as well. The opportunity of scholarships is like we have state scholarships, the scholarships are given to students who are financially weak with book aids from the library, and we too have scholarships that are given on the basis of academic excellence to students. As far as campus job is concerned the college provide internship fair which we call as intern-o-feria. Where 100s of companies come and provide jobs a detailed pdf is available on the college website which mentions no. of students who got a job, so you can easily refer to that.

The campus is really beautiful, it's big, huge and you can feel it. We have a beautiful botanical garden and a very large playground with a 30x30 feet open gym at a corner. And in addition to that, we have a basketball court, volleyball court, and an indoor atrium with a badminton court. We have a freshers' fest called Aarambh and it is usually conducted within 1-2 months of freshers arrival probably in September-October. And an annual fest with further followed by society fest in January and February, in these months all colleges of University celebrate fest and enjoy. We have a huge library which has more than sufficient books from all departments to novels and even books of general aptitude, The Classrooms are well equipped with leveled seating arrangement of fixed benches and equipped with a podium for a speaker. The college has its own cricket, basketball, badminton, football team with an NCC and NSS as well. We have a page on Instagram run by students and many meme pages.
