Remarks
1. Academic excellence - IIT Delhi is among the best technical institutes globally, and there is a lot of focus on holistic development of students. We were trained to be problem-solvers. 2. Global exposure - Once again, IIT Delhi offers innumerable opportunities to gain global exposure in the undergraduate level. There is the foreign exchange program, internships and summer schools which we could apply to. 3. Research expertise: IIT Delhi excels in different verticals of research and development projects. There are frequent international conferences, and ~100 research papers are published each year. 4. Industrial connections: IIT Delhi has multi-faceted industrial connections, and there are several on-going technical and social projects. We also have an upcoming industrial park. 5. College culture - Student bodies like BSA (Sports), BRC (Cultural) and CAIC (Technology) are very much active and provide lot of recreational opportunities for students. We can play cricket, hockey, basketball, table-tennis and so on, and we also do drama, dance, paint, sing, debate, quiz and on and on. Technical clubs like iGEM, Axl8r, Robotics, Economics club also provide engaging opportunities to students. Simply, there's too much going on!
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum - Most of the courses are very well structured and help us develop both a solid theoretical foundation as well as a practical problem-solving aptitude for the recent problems existing in that domain. However, there are 2/3 (out of 60-70 courses I did) courses which are slightly back-dated and need to be improved. Academics - Academics is quite diverse and flexible. We get to do courses from other departments like - Management, Analytics and Humanities along with our regular curriculum, It adds a rich flavor to our overall academic experience.Faculties - IIT Delhi faculty is stunning! They naturally have an in-depth understanding of their course. They are very much into industrial research and consultation, And most of them are fun too.

Placement Experience
Placement and Job Opportunities - Although it might not reflect the 1 crore packages which Indian media reports so frequently, placements in IIT Delhi are great, and it provides an amazing boost to our professional career. We have offers from consulting firms, financial institutions, core firms, data analytics firms and few other niche roles as well. Also, several of us opt for higher studies like master's or a Ph.D. once we complete our graduation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure - I enrolled for my course in 2014, and in our time it was ~50K for academics and ~20K for accommodation and food for each semester. We had 8 semesters in our bachelor's degree, and 2 semesters in our master's degree. For master's, the fees were ~20K for academics and ~20K for accommodation and food each semester. Scholarship - There are a lot of need-based scholarships which we can avail as per requirement. Also, there are merit-based scholarships like the Semester Merit Award (for the top 7% of students from each batch). In addition, master's students get an MHRD scholarship of ~12K per month for TA-ship responsibilities in their final year.
Campus Life
Annual Fests - Rendezvous (cultural fest); Tryst (technical fest); Literatti (literature fest) and Sportech (BSA fest).Sports - Name any sport and we had a club for that. There were huge grounds to play cricket, hockey and football. We also had courts for basketball, tennis, badminton as well as indoor rooms for table tennis, squash, swimming, weight-lifting and so on. Cultural Activities - we had regular events for street-play, drama, quizzes, debates etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Facilities - I think the hostel facilities in IIT Delhi were what you can expect from a decent government college. Rooms were good, meals were also decent. We had a music room, a table tennis room, a gym, a common room and a computer room in each hostel. There were stationary shops and eating outlets in most hostels. And of course, the highly celebrated night mess
