Remarks

Mostly it is one of the good colleges in Bhubaneswar. Its sister college of NIST Bherampur ranks among the top three colleges in the state of Orissa. There is a regular facility exchange program from NIST Bherampur. I got admission on the basis of my JEE Mains score. This college is basically taking admission of OJEE scores but also on the basis of JEE scores. Admission criteria should be candidates must secure 60% or more in PCM in 12th Std. Also have secured reasonable scores in the competitive exam to undergo the process of counseling.

Since I have much more interest in Electrical-related stuff, so I have chosen B-Tech Electrical and Electronics stream. Here Faculty: Students ratio is approx 1:60. Most of the Faculty are M-Tech and Ph.D. holders. Their way of explaining a thing is quite impressive to all of us. Since University conducts each semester so within that we have two internal exams conducted by the college. If we attend the classes regularly then it's not that tough to secure good marks in exams. Minimum 80% attendance must attend these exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are not that high nor too low, I would say it's moderate since governed by the BPUT University. From time to time college provide details to various scholarships provided by the state and central goverment, One has to keep the eye on such details and apply within the timeframe to avail of such schemes.

Campus Life

Every year tech fest is organized by the college named Impulse. College is having a big library which is full of books and journals on almost each and every topic. Classrooms are equipped with all modern equipment for teaching purposes. There are several options for fun and entertainment like electronics hobby club, renewable energy club, coding marathon, Music club. Coming to sports activity college is having billiards facility for indoor, for outdoor college is having facilities of volleyball and basketball. Every year there is an intercollege cricket match is also happening, in which our college team always takes part.

Manageable and good

Placement Experience:

So the students can sit for placements right after their completion of 6th semester. The Campus also invites a wide number of companies in the college for placements and a lot of students get placed. Although the placement is not too high.

DCE- A pal or foe?

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards you'll be eligible for campus placements. Many companies visits are college such as adobe, nippo, airtel etc.. Avg package is around 6lpa Almost 70-85% are getting placements.

BEST COLLEGE FOR MODERN EDUCATION WITH GURUKUL NATURE

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

My College Experience

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
