Remarks
I applied for Netaji Subhash Engineering College, Meghgnad Saha, St. Thomas but got in this college. I took admission via general quota through counseling. If your rank is somewhere between 15000-25000, you can expect this CSE department in 1st round of counseling only.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took this course because of my interest in coding. The faculty: student ratio is 1:24, it is declared on the college search"s website. All of them are specialists in computer science engineering. Term exams are followed as from MAKAUT i.e, around 6 months, and exams are not easy to pass unless they are online.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like TCS, WIPRO, CTS, etc visit our college. They offer roles like manager, assistant manager, team leader, etc. to the students. They have many programs for self developement of students and career counseling.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year [5th semester] students are eligible to sit for campusing for companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. The Avg. package is around 3.5 lakhs and the highest package was 13.4 lakhs. About 90% of students get placed by the end of the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike is very rare to be seen in this college. You can look for govt. aided scholarships and it is said after 1st year if you have more than 9 sgpa , you can get a scholarship from the college. I didn't get any govt aided scholarship as in 2020 many of these scholarships were put on hold.
Campus Life
Phoenix is the major fest here conducted in July month. They have a huge library with the latest books and journals. Classrooms are quite normal for a section of 60 students. They have a club for sports named Sportivo.
