Remarks
*I looked only for this college as it is totally a girls college. *I did not avail any quota, the admission was solely done based on 12 class merit with an entrance test. *The admission process basically consists of the following: First, you have enrolled yourself through the official banasthali website or visit the college for the same Second, you have to pay for the admission fees which is of approx 1500 to 1600 rupees. Third, you can opt for a day for the entrance exam. Fourth, if you did well in the entrance exam you will receive a call from them, and they will yet to know the further procedure Note-- anything above 60 percent in the entrance will easily get you a seat in the College.
Course Curriculum Overview
We live in a modern world, and everything around us is, directly and indirectly, computer related. And this course will surely offer me a promising future. For every 200 students, there is one teacher. The teacher tries their best to monitor every individual's performance. The faculty was of top class, approx 95 percent of the teachers were IIT qualified. They teach you the best possible way to get you through the concepts. The teaching method was very good. The exams schedule was prefixed. There was not a single time when the exams nor sessionals, practicals were delayed. The difficulty of exams was of moderate level.
Internships Opportunities
College provides internships for every single student which helps the student to get knowledge of the company related tasks. Companies like Wipro, TCS offers internship for the last year students. They also offer a Pre Placement offer for brilliant students.
Placement Experience
From 7 semesters onwards you will be eligible for campus placements. Companies like Wipro, TCS, IBM, cognizant, Infosys. comes for campus placement every year. The highest package till now offered by my college was 13 lakh, which was offered by IBM. Approx 95 percent of our students are offered placements. I plan to look for a software developer job and have a great career in the IT world.
Fees and Financial Aid
The per year fees including the hostel is 2 lakh per year. You can pay the fees partially also. College provided many scholarship opportunities for the students. The only way to get a scholarship is to pass the scholarship exam, the exam name was banasthali baalika vikaas chaatravarti yojna. This provides a very good assist for some financially poor students. There was no fees hike, the fees structure remained constant throughout college life.
Campus Life
There are many fests for every branch. The best I know was "Aapa Ji" Fest. It consisted of fairs, food stalls, clothing shops, games and many things to enjoy and forget about the daily busy college life. It was mainly held in November. For technology lovers, a sci-fi tech fest was scheduled every Feb month of the year. All books were available in the library including college books and lovely novels. Daily newspapers were also provided. All sports were played in my college. I was a kho-kho lover, extracurricular was also there like dancing singing.
Hostel Facilities
The room was very well organised and was provided with good ventilation. You can select from two choices, first' with two girls sharing and second with three girls sharing. No single room can be allotted to 1,2,3 year students. Hostel registration is done at the time of admission. Hostel fees are 65000 per month which is included in the College fees. The daily meal was very healthy and tasty. Special meals were given on Tuesdays. I rented a room in the hostel " Shaanta Shoudh".
