BCK-Nice College

The admission is purely based on the percentage scored on the 12th board.I am very happy that I got a good college where I wanted to study and I got it in the general category.The minimum percentage of marks for BComm in my college was around 65% for the general category. There were no counseling sessions as such

I selected this course because I had no choice left I didn't get the percentage I wanted so I opted for BComm.The student ratio in my college is around 30:1. The faculties here are very knowledgeable and care for their students.They have Masters's degrees and some have done their Ph.D. as well. Exams annually consist of 4 unit tests and 2 sem exams.Its very easy in internals but hard in sem exam

We get internships based on our CGPA after the 5th sem. Some companies call us for internships and they gave us valuable training.Most of them were placed in good companies because we got good training in this internship

From 6th sem students become eligible for campus placements.The top companies such as TCS,Infosys,IBM,Accenture,CapGemini visit every here and many get placed in these companies.The highest package offered is around 12lakh/annum and the lowest was 3 lakh/anum. Roughly 50%students get placed in my college in these reputed companies. I am planning to do the Masters degree

The fees is very high as compared to other colleges. But we can the money invested on us the infrastructure and the facilities they provide.For BComm Course the fee is around 24000 per year.Its a 3 year course as we all know.The students from lower caste and those whose financial conditions are poor get Scholarships from the college.

There are many cultural events happening in my college on a regular basis.They are conducted monthly by the college so as to enhance a good environment amongst us.The Central Library comprises many books and journals which are relevant to the course . There is a Projector in each and every class which makes us learn better. We are not allowed to carry mobile phones and we have the uniform provided by the college. The sports here are the best in my Taluka we compete amongst the best colleges in Udupi had have won many trophies.We have a cricket academy where students get selected in district competition.
