Entrance Preview

I did part time b.tech in this college, so not necessary to write entrance exam eligibility for this course is diploma in textile technology. PSG is only college has part time course in textile technology, since my home town is coimbatore, i used this opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview

We followed the anna university syllabus. So we fulfilled with the existing curriculum. If any things are not covered in the syllabus, we compliant about faculty through the assessing app and student committee. So will get the solution for any issues from the management side if any.

Internships Opportunities

No, internship for textile course. They permit to visit textile industries to learn practical things. The visit expenses can not be claimed. It is purely bear by students only. This visit will fall on saturday and sundays.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Semester fees around rs 10000 to maximum of rs 13000. The above fees comprises of tuition fees, library, exam fees, laboratory expenses, id card, all miscellaneous items. No other fees to be collected middle of semester.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

An Honest look at PSG COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY what to expect

I had applied psg,cit,thapar I got confirmed from these three but the main reason I choose psg is course curriculum and the internship it will help you to gain good knowledge and place in good company so comparing other colleges psg is better The admission process of my course there is 4 courses of 5years integrated msc (ds,cs,ss,tcs ) To join in these there are 3rounds 1.12th percentage 2.entrance exam. 3.interview Your 12th score is must be more than 85 The entrance exam is based on 11th and 12th mathmatics And the interview has some technical questions and mathmatics Iam not feared about 1st and 2nd round because my 12th score is very good and Iam well in mathmatics but the 3rd interview round was very good experience for me I had a good chance to prove my skills I had little fear after completing I got 3rd position in the entrance exam Finally it was a great experience for me...Read More
