Remarks

The admission process was smooth. During the application, I had put the VJTI college Computer program as my first choice and then Computers in DJ Sanghvi college as my next choice. Unfortunately, I did not get VJTI computers so eventually, I took Computer Engineering at DJ Sanghvi College Of Engineering. Computers cut off was around 99 percentile during my time. I secured my admission in the 2nd CAP round itself. The documents were verified and then the admission was secured and we had to lay the fees that day itself.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I was interested in programming so I chose the Computer Engineering field. The faculty are very helpful and there is not much stress on academics. The faculties are specialized in their respective domains. They encourage students for Co-curricular activities as well. The unit tests are around after every month and term exams are after 2nd unit test. There are orals and practical exams as well.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

An internship fair is conducted and a lot of companies provide internships like JP Morgan with 50,000 as a stipend, Morgan Stanley with 25,000 as a stipend and a lot of other companies. There are companies with projects like web development, app development etc.

Placement Experience

4

In Dj Sanghvi, almost half of students go for masters abroad. And for students sitting for placements, more than 90% of students get placed in companies. A lot of companies like JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, TCS, Infosys, Delloite etc come for campus placements. The highest placement was offered by Morgan Stanley to 3 students as 25 lpa. I plan to go abroad for my masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a different fee structure for each type of admission the student gets. There are also different types of scholarships like EWS, TFWS etc. The fees are hiked every year. A lot of companies come to college for campus placements as well.

Campus Life

4.5

Trinity is conducted in the month of February and different events continue till March. A couple of Hackathons, coding contests, internship fairs, project competitions are also conducted. The classrooms are fully Air Conditioned, with smart boards. A lot of books of all domains are present in the library for reference. There are a lot of committees like Unicode, ACM, CSI, NSS, IETE, IEEE etc

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.
