Remarks
I have applied for siliguri college of commerece and suryasen college. But i choose siliguri college of commerece, because of better education. The criteria for this college you may apply for any course if you have more than 60% and for addmission they put a merit list upon marks. And if you have more than 77% you have chance to get honours and if you have less than you will get chance in pass course but not in honours course.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because i want be a part of bank. They just took 200 students for this course. There are lots of educated teachers who teaches us and guided us properly. We dont have term exams because we are now in a semister wise exams. We have exams after every 5-6 months. And it is quite tough to pass out in every subject.
Placement Experience
After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Out of the companies some of them are Institute of Charter Accountancy, Institute of GST ETC. They give us some packages for jobs. Like the highest package is about 50000 rupees and the lowest is 15000 rupees. Only few studets get chance in this companies. Like 5-10% students. I want to be a bank manager so i just keep my study moving on.
Fees and Financial Aid
Because it is an government college thats why the fees is quite cheaper than other private colleges. Our currwnt fees is 10,800 rupees. I did not complete my course yet because of covid. But i think i should get a job in a bank as a clerk in my 1st stage.
Campus Life
We have lot of fests in our college like durga puja, saraswati puja and many more like that. As well as our college conducted a yearly tech genious contest. Amd moat of the time the contest is conduated in month of march or april. We also have a library from where we can borrow books for our educational purposse. In our college there is a anuual sports function is also conducted, where sports like cricket, volleyball and many outdoors games are played. As well as indoors games like chess, table tannis etc.
