Awesome but needs improvements.

College Management is good, but the decisions taken by the college are always challenged by the Localites and forced to be changed. Also the labs need to be well maintained.

I had got admission to this college directly from Management Quota. Infact i had better options like Datta Maghe but opted this college only because the Green environment nearby, the college is amidst rivers and green surroundings with fresh air always.

The year when i got admitted was not as good as it is today. The course structure is just loved by all students. We are made to attend seminars and give presentations and complete focus is done on improvement of student skills. Civil Department had only Solid Waste Management and Industrial Waste Treatment as electives.

NO, but currently i heard that efforts are being made by the Management for Internship Programs. Certain arrangements are being made for sending students on internships.

NO, but currently i heard that efforts are being made by the Management for Placement opportunities. Companies visit the campus but select hardly any students. Students usually get placed by placement agencies externally. Civil students usually don't get placed easily, but previous HOD had made it possible. But this is not the condition with current HOD.

A very famous event named 'Mathru Devo Bhava' is celebrated 22nd February every year for saluting the Mothers. Recently, a huge number of Cultural, Sports and many many events has been started by the Management for nourishing the student skills. Marathons, Traditional meets, etc is organized by student unions of Shahapur along with college support.

The fees is less compared to other colleges but Bus charges if extreme. Also the college being far away from nearest station, regular travel charges amounts to Rs.40 per day from station to college and return. College doesn't charge any mid term fees other than University Form fees for KT Exams.

No. But the college provides insurance for students. Its necessary as the campus is far away and risky due to presence if Snakes. But no casualties have been reported as of till now related to snake bites.

College does not have a Hostel facility of own, but locals provided accommodation for students along with food facility also which is affordable. The food facilities might be not suitable for few as the making habits is different from what we have regularly, but Hotels and Dhabas are available in ample and affordable prices for daily food also.

Seniors were good and very helpful specially related to academics. They always provided helpful hand to us. Even me also, i am at still in contact with many of my Seniors and Juniors too.

Labs are well equipped with latest equipments but they need to be well maintained. Exams are very strict and they encourage students to secure great marks in main exams. Practicals are planned to be conducted weekly but turn out to be conducted six monthly owing to non working condition of apparatus.

I had got admission to this college directly from Management Quota. Firstly i had visited the Management office in Thane just for inquiry. Next day i visited the college campus at Asangaon 60km away for seeing the campus. I said yes for getting admitted just after stepping into the capus.

Department of Civil doesn't has as good faculty as others. Infact it had during my Tenure over there as a student, but they left owing to the Dictatorahip like behavior of HOD of Civil which was surprisingly favoured by the Management. Other Departments have been having good faculties. I can say that Civil Department is working only on Visiting facilities arranged by HOD which are also not much experienced or good for work.
