Entrance Preview

I got admitted via CAP round. As i have done diploma engineering i was directly admitted to the Second year of engineering. And i scored 87% in the final year of my diploma.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum focuses on old school languages used in computer programming like java, C++. Few new technologies have been taught in the final semester like big data and digital forensics. Initial semesters only have basic programming languages. But as you go up the pyramid subjects and more complex and real life applicant.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide internship but students get opportunities from companies visiting the campus for internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is pretty decent. Near about 30 companies visit the campus throughout the final year. Packages range from 3 lac to 7 lac. A striking opportunity is given by a company called works app which offers a package of 35 lac p.a. Other companies like media. net, oracle, atos, capgemini, L&T and TCS visit the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is standard in all engineering colleges like around 1,20,000/- for open category. Which is slightly more than other colleges considering the amazing infrastructure and facilities provided by the college. Centralised AC and plush washroom facilities compensate for the fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have never applied or have knowledge of scholarship or loan facility provided by college. Though students apply for various scholarships voluntarily and full support is given by the college. A separate department is dedicated just for scholarship related work.

Exam Structure

Two internal assessment test were taken each semester. Along with weekly assignments and lab journals checked. The term work marks were given based on your attendance, lab journals and assignments. The 20 marks of internal assessment were given by taking the average of two unit test marks.

Admission

The entire process is based on CAP rounds, you are asked to fill up college according to your preferences and the most suited college depending on your merit is alloted. There are in all 3 CAP rounds. If you are alloted in initial round you no longer are eligible for subsequent rounds.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of college is really good. The old professors have great experience in the subjects been taught. Many professors are also pd.D holders and other are in the process of making. Minimum qualification of ME is held by each professors. But experience speaks louder than degree and the faculty here is extremely talented and experienced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
