Remarks

I chose MMK because it was the only college offering b com financial markets and one of the main factors is that it's a 10 mins walk from my house. I did not avail any quota also admission was on the basis of percentage and there was a Sindhi quota also and the admission process was very simple.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Tbh I chose BFM because I didn't get admission to BMS and the faculty were too good they were very well trained they all had experience with the industry some were even doing the job as well they do to not give examples from the textbook but used to tell about real-world experiences like why the gold price was rising during Iran and America clash why crude oil prices fell during coronavirus every class had an activity like making a business outline or debating whether demonetization was good or bad.

Internships Opportunities

4

I didn't go for an internship so I don't know about it but my friends have done an internship in IIFL but they didn't like it because they were asked to open accounts and they were supposed to be paid at the end of 2 month period.

Placement Experience

4

Once students complete sem 5 placement starts students have an option to apply for companies from various sectors banking and finance marketing and media also the stipend offers are very attractive it starts from 20000 to 30000 with various incentives. After my degree, my plan is to start my own business and join my family business as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were around 18000 for a year and it was worth it. Companies that had come for placements were IIFL Motilal Oswal and many other marketing companies although I didn't apply for placements batchmates of mine who applied said that they were being paid very well.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest organized by BMS BFM and bad is enthusia and the akarshan was of b com this activity brought students from all courses together also freshers parties were also organized and there was a canteen in the college classroom had air conditioners projectors and whiteboard also students were allowed to access library there were two computer labs.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
