The College is good-[RECM], Mainpuri

I haven't applied for any other colleges, this college was allocated to me in the very first round and I locked my choice. I didn't avail any quota. I'm from the general category. The admission process was simple with just document verification.

The course curriculum was somewhat average and not so productive but the faculty members were quite knowledgeable and talented. There were around 60 students in 1 batch and about 1 teacher for each subject. Most of the faculty members were qualified from colleges like NITs and other government colleges. The term exams were held every six months and they were quite easy to pass.

The internship program was quite well most of the students find places for internships on their own which includes, BHEL, OIL, AMAZON, RDSO, etc. There wasn't any stipend provided as per my knowledge. The projects include, Power Grid up-gradation and making them smart, Application of Solar Energy at mass level, designing of grids and other using MATLAB, etc.

There was barely any TPU cell at that time. About 2-3 companies were called for placements that too offered very little salary. Those companies were small ones. I don't remember their names. The maximum package received by someone was about 3.2 lakhs with an average of around 2 lakhs per annum. About 4-5 students were placed out of 60 from my batch. I'm preparing for the GATE exam after I've completed my degree.

Since it's a government college all the students eligible get a scholarship. These scholarships include the backward category and others. The scholarship was about 50000 around. The academic fee for one year is about 60000 rupees and also 16500 and about 15000 mess and hostel fee respectively. Talking about financial assistance, no financial assistance was provided by the college as per my knowledge.

There are likely 2 or more fests per year celebrated in the college. In 2017 the annual fest was named - Abhuday 2017, In 2018 its was Abhyuday 2018, and so on in respective years. The sports fest was called Sport Hunt with respective years as 2017,18,19. The library was recently constructed so there were not many books there, but most of the academic books were present. There were several sports that were available there to play like football, Table Tennis, Badminton, etc. And some extracurricular activities like music and dancing were also there. There were several clubs at that time like cultural, Innovative, Electrode, Soccer, and others.

The basic facilities like electricity, water, and wifi were available to the students. Hostel food was below average as expected, but the menu was quite fine. The registration process for the hostel was done on yearly basis with a 7500 rupee fee for six months and the mess fee was around 16500 rupees. I didn't rent any room but the rooms to rent were quite far from the campus.
