Remarks

Actually, I was always hoping to get a college in the techno India group..and luckily I got that in the Bengal Institute of Technology, Kolkata. I got this college based on marks in wbjee. you should have 50percent in 12th board in pcm and there is no age limit. The councelling process is online as well as offline based on your comfort.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always want to get a CS/IT branch and luckily I got IT... The faculty over here are damm good u will love to come here without any regret. The student ratio is quite good here I love the faculty over here especially the professor of humanities. the teaching method is good here mostly teachers are doctorate here.exams are used to held here often and u will love to give exams

Internships Opportunities

The companies hereunder internship are Wipro,TCS, Infosys etc with a stipend of 4k . Projects over here u can go with are AI, cloud computing etc. You have to go for project in the 4th year and especially AI and cloud computing are in Market nowadays so greater chances of getting jobs u will have

In third semester you will be eligible for campus placement Many companies visit here especially Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Amazon,etc The Highest package here Is 12 lakhs per annum and the lowest is 3 lacs per annum 90percent of the student get placed here. Maybe MBA or MTech

The fee is normal over here Just like the other private institute. You do not have any problem.. Yes, you will get a stipend here in companies like Accenture, Capgemini etc. The stipend u will get here is 4-5k

Campus Life

Anual fest - impulse is daam good. you will enjoy the blast of college. different singers used to visit here, You will love the blast as per the technical fest- bits to byte is best over here especially you will come in contact with many best alumni here

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
