No entrance exam I have taken.I have got a admission through my State board percentage(Andhra Pradesh). Secured 96.7% and luckily got my dream branch Mechanical engineering.The reason I opt this college is for the top class university and better placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I mentioned this is the world class university, the course curriculum is simply awesome with the high standard lab facilities. We have 8 semester s which has variety of subjects based on the branch. We can complete the 8th semester electives before only if have good percentage in the first year.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, Sastra provides internship,you have good percentage in your B.tech .Basically in my period 2010-2014 first 10% percentage students they have given 14 thousand and next 10-20% students they have given 7 thousand.
Placement Experience
Basically in Sastra if you completed your B.TECH with min 60% you will get a 100% placement. Sastra university have 95% placement status every year .
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network and senior students are very helpful .Don't worry about the senior students, Sastra has a strict Non -ragging act.
Exam Structure
In my period 2010-2014. Each semester has Rs 35000 fee, 1-8 semesters-35000 per semester. And if you want hostel facility,they will provide a good hostels with better wifi facility.

You can see a multi talented faculty in this Sastra university. As my personal experience,we have a great with my faculty with professionally and personally.They will clarify your doubts whenever you want . They will also give phone number and email I'd which is easily accessible for any further clarification and doubts.
