I have applied for this college only. Because it's ranked among the topmost college of commerce in Kolkata. And it's a hon our itself yo study at this college. The admission process is very easy and simple. Based on your CET result and 12th mark sheet the admission will happen through direct counselling. It's just a one day procedure. The minimum marks required in the commerce subjects is above 65%. The minimum age to join the college is 18years and the maximum age is 21years. After that, the college doesn't take admission.

I wanted to study commerce line from the very beginning and I chose it in the HS. So to pursue a better career and make opportunities I found Goenka institute the best college. All the teachers and students have great bonding with each other. And most of the time the students are seen interacting with teachers on various topics to sharpen their knowledge. Most of the teachers are extremely qualified and full of knowledge and experience. I personally enjoy the study under them and I can guarantee that the students who will study under their guidance can always get good scores in every exam. The teaching methods are very good and understandable. Two semester exams happen every year at an interval of 6 months each. So there's an ample amount of time to get prepared by the teachers. Passing is not a big factor here. The students who will follow the class notes regularly will get the pass marks easily.

The students become eligible to get job opportunities after they complete the 4th semester or the 2nd year. The companies that visited our college are GODREJ, LIVPURE, DELOITTE SHARED SERVICES PVT(L), GL GROUPS and some others. Every year almost 70% of students get placed from this college and the average package offered is around 4lakhs/year. The highest package offered is around 6-7lakh/year. I want to join the GODREJ group after I complete getting my degree because my father is also an employee there and I want to stay with him during my job time. Every student can get the desired job amongst these top brand companies.

The fees structure is pretty simple and there are no hidden charges implied upon that. The cost to study is petty much reasonable and affordable. Our college performs various programs of distributing the scholarships to every student whose family's yearly income is around 1lakh. So, there is more financial assistance too for students who need it. There is an ample amount of job offering companies too through which any student can easily get into a job and support their family needs.

Our college campus is very large and full of space. So the students enjoy their time freely apart from studies. Every year our college organizes the main event of the cultural fest in which many eminent singers, actors, dancers and sometimes cricketers also comes and entertains us throughout the day. Personalities like Sourav Ganguly, Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam also visited our college a couple of years back. So you know how important this fest becomes. This fest generally occurs at the end of the year in between October-November. Our college library is the largest room in the college due to the presence of a huge number of books comprising of every category books like Journals, books of commerce subjects, current affairs etc. Apart from studies, our college also emphasizes different kinds of sports activities like a marathon race, cricket, football tournaments etc. These activities are open to both boys and girls respectively. There are 2 clubs in our college- 1.Sports club and 2. Photography club
