I applied for Nist, Soa, silicon Institute bbsr, and Giet. All of the above colleges were willing to give me admission but I chose GIETU because of its placement and experienced faculties. This college is known for quality education and good placement percentage. And of course, due to its location, it gives you a fresh way to start. I am from the general category and no quota was applied during my admission. For admission in cse you need to get a decent close to 50 percentile in jee or Clear GIETEE. I didn't go through counseling as I was having a clear idea where to get admission. Coming to the admission process, it was quite long. It takes nearly 2 hrs to fill all the forms and complete the procedure. Seniors were also allotted to help freshies in the process.

I had already taken python in my 11 th and 12 th so I chose the comp sci branch. And also I wanted to learn more about coding and programming. Coming to faculties, they always try to access each one very closely. Although some r rude but almost all the faculties are helpful. They are highly qualified, highly experienced PhDs from different famous Nits and colleges. All in all, they can show you the full path in the domain. Coming to exams class's test was done every Wednesday for each subject and a cycle test was taken every two months. In total two cycle tests were performed. Before sem teachers supply us question bank which is very useful. So for us, cycle test is more difficult than the semester.

Till now internship is available from nptel and swayam. And seniors also give much info abt internships. But an internship with a stipend i don't have any idea. Till now I don't know about any projects because I hadn't spent much time in college due to pandemic.

From 3 rd year students get placements. Tcs, wipro, capgemini, infosys like big companies comes here. Highest package of this year was 13 L by tcs and apart from that range vary from 3 to 10 lakhs. College is telling 100% placement is there but I am not sure. I may go for cat or for gate.

In total, fees for 1 year is 2lakh 4 thousand to be accurate. This includes all the facilities such as training cell, library, bus fee, etc. Scholarships can be obtained from ongc and state govt with particular conditions. And till now I have no knowledge about job stipend.

As pandemic is going we just spent few days in college and an online class is going on so don't know abt the fest. The library here is very big and all have access. It is full of books, almost every book u can find. There is also an internet cell in the library to access the internet. The classroom has cameras. U can't do any mischief. All sports are supported here. And if there is such sport u want not available then just talk to management, they will provide u. Coming to the club till now I know personal development club, coding club, dance club, and music bands. And I think there are more but I don't know.

The room is of three types. Single room, double room for two and a big room for three students. I live in a big room I.e of three students' rooms. They provide one bed, one table and one chair to each. And toilets are cleaned once every week. And the big thing is I am able to see the shower. The meal somehow is not good. U will get things like fish chicken etc but once in a week. Dessert is also once in a week. At the evening you can get tea and biscuits. Tea u can take as much as u want. Hostel you can get easily because 12-14 buildings are there. Coming to pg I don't have any idea.
