Gave entrance test of IHM Aurangabad. Test is fairly easy but you need to perform well also in group discussion rounds and personal interview is where you need to shine.

Very detailed and covers also other management aspects from an MBA program to give a well rounder experience to the students apart from the hotel management detailed expertise given. All hotel departments are introduced to give students an idea of the working and then choose accordingly where they want to work at.

Yes. there are various opportunities in year 2,3 and 4. General stipend depends but in our time it was about 2000 INR per month.

Due to the repute of this college, all big & small companies do visit for campus placements so it is very good in terms of this aspect. Students are well informed of this process and also trained by faculty to go through first steps of their careers.

There were various events like all colleges and more due to ours being hotel management. so every event used to be planned and executed by a batch of students from operations to kitchen to finance etc . events ranged from carnivals, food festivals, founders day, theme parties etc. also religious festivals with foods from that region.

Fee structure was slighlty on the higher side as apart from hotel education you also get trained in other aspects like and MBA program for finance, hr etc. this helps student to be overall groomed well to explore his options. This also gives the confidence to handle all situations and people in a hotel career where guests are ranging from all walks of life and careers.

Campus life is good and revolves mostly around college and hostel. Auranagabd city is also very good and small so students are not very distracted. city also gives good opportunity for students to work in good hotels for regular on job training's. college organises regular visits from outsde faculty and experts during the course.

hostels were good and well equipped. regular refurbishments were done and facilities were maintained. premises were well guarded and supervised by wardens always to avoid any incidents and keep students in check. it was almost like military school as noone was allowed to bunk college and also during someone is sick, good care is taken.

Alumni network is good and people are very well connected. seniors are helpful and college has good name in the industry so you meet everywhere someone from the alumni.

Exams are never easy anywhere and students are expected to prepare well to excel later. Students are well trained through the years and during exams its all about refreshing yourself to put the best on paper. Labs or operations knowledge is also tested like an on job training review.

Admission process was simple as i remember and straight forward. Staff is cooperative and clear instructions are given all the way. First you need to give the entrance tests for which you can get forms and register online with the institute and then henceforth you are guided.

Good faculty and staff. All are well experienced in operations and also teaching. they are also at same time keeping themselves up to date with phds and researches. They have trained mostly with Taj hotels for all operations and well versed with industry standards.
