I had given IMUCET(all india exam),i had scored 898(all india general rank), I choosed this college because i had a very keen interest in merchant navy,and this college is the headquarter of indian maritime university.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is pretty much good. I think btech marine engineering is not a game. Its a very tough course as we study all engineering such as civil(naval architecture),electrical engg, mechanical, fluid dynamics, computer engineering , maths, Tele communication engineering etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its a govt marine college. Fee structure is 1.25 lakhs per year though its expensive yet its the least one in india. Private college 3.25 lakhs per year Its feasible for us as loan is also given and scholarship is also arranged by college. So i think college with this course should take this much fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
College gives scholarship of 1 lakh to the batch topper and 75000 to30 percentile, and next 30 will be given 50000 from this year. For loan tgey help us giving a college letter which help us in banks to get loans fast.
Exam Structure
Exams are quite strict here.labs are in fine condition, workshop is good. There are many labs such as electrical lab, mechanical lab ,electronics lab,computer lab, workshop where we do general duties,we have fluid mechanics lab,exam is properly done here with strict invigilating.
