Entrance Preview

Written CENTAC exam and got seat via Rural Quota. During my admission time i have three option to choose. I had chosen Computer science and Engineering as by department.

Course Curriculum Overview

When I was studying there all the curriculum are shared as hard copy while starting each semesters. They also suggest us the text book which we can follow for the semester. We in person has to purchase and use the same. The course structure was very good and useful now a days in my carrier.

Internships Opportunities

When I am studying our college will help to do internship. But we have to do it in our own. They will provide bonafide certificate to authorised us to do the internships.

Placement Experience

In our college we have separate placement consultant they help all the students to get their job. They Train all the students and provide material also. Almost all major companies are came when I was studied there. Almost 95% of students got placed at that time.

College Events

In our college following events are celebrated Sport Day, Annual Day. Department wise tech submits. We can also celebrate any other festival with the approval of management. We have our own auditorium and open theater there we will celebrate all our festivals.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not in the position to tell about this because, I won't avail any loan or scholarship which was offered by our college during my college life.

Students become eligible for placement from 3rd year 6th semester itself but the college does not bring any company for placement on time. 5 years back standard companies lkke tsc, hcl, cts etc used to come. But nowaday it is very rare. Lowest package is 2 lpa and highest package is 6 lpa. Average is 4 lpa. Very least students get placed. Try off campus. Do not believe the college

Know About Puducherry Technological University

Placement Experience:

By 7th Semester, students are eligible for Campus Placements and there are several companies that have visited our college during a course of 2-3 months and there were many offers made, highest package was of 9.5 LPA and the average is of 5-6LPA Students are getting Placed very well, and i have place already so my plan is to get into the job and excell in the IT Sector

I got into SMVEC First, after a month later, i got into my current college PTU in which everything was better than SMVEC, SMVEC is a lot more like a school, while PTU is more like a college where the staffs dont consider about any rules, but they be on time and perfect when it comes to studies. Life in Pondicherry Technological University
