IIIT SURAT...

I had given only JEE MAINS exam so i didn't try for any other College. Although cleared mains in 2017 with 12 didn't take admission in any college. In 2018 got 131 marks and took admission in IIIT Surat mainly due to its temporary campus is in NIT surat. And IIIT students are allowed in each fest and program of the event. Admission is done through JEE MAINS marks after you have to go for counclling and once you get college you have to get verify your documents.suppose you have not get your choice college then you can opt for upward option and also for special round counclling. My over all experience of college is good. But due to covid sitting at home from last 3 semesters. Pros:- If you take admission in IIIT Surat you can Enjoy Surat city which is one of the best city of imsia. You can get svnit campus at low rank You will also be allowed for placements with svnit students. Cons:-IIIT Surat is not having permanent campus.This institute is not so old even first batch will passout in2021

The faculty and student ratio is fine but most of the faculties are not permanent. They are on a contract base. But there are some faculty of svnit. The faculty is well qualified and the teaching method is also fine. Mainly there is one semester of six months. means total 8 semesters. Per semester has mid-semester exams and end semester exam beside this there will be practicals, viva, etc..

Mainly Microsoft, Adobe, Lowe's, decollete provides a good stipend and PPO to students. Average stipend is about 50 thousand per month. Major projects are automatic hand sanitizer by first-year students, and also mars rover

Students can apply for internships for 6 semesters and many students got PPO. Placement statistics are better and will be improved more in the coming years as in 2021 first batch is passed out. The average placement is about 9 lakh.

Fee is high as this institute is based on the PPP model.your degree will cost you about 10 lakh for four years. Yes you can get a scholarship but not from college but from state or central government if you are eligible

Mainly IIIT Surat students take part in svnit fests. But IIIT students are also having fun fests and sports events. In college, there are some curricular activities and sports groups. They had conducted many events such as IIITSCT cricket tournament,volley ball tournament, and many such fun-loving events.

Hostel rooms are fine and now IIIT student hostel is renovated. IIIT student's shares with svnit students mess facility is good.and this will include in the hostel fee which is 45k per year.so Hostel and mess both are affordable. Now if you rent a room around college it will cost you more as college is in the main city area so you have to pay a big amount for rent.
