Remarks
I have applied for the counselling of GGSIPU. The admission is purely based on the JEE Mains rank. I got HMRITM CSE in the third round of counselling. The counselling is online. At first, I have filled the application form. Then the registration form for the counselling, followed by choice filling among various colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty of the Institute is highly knowledgeable and supportive. Even though in the pandemic period, the classes were regularly taken through online mode. The sessionals and the end term exams were held timely. Sessionals was pen paper-based exams whereas the end term exams were MCQ based.
Internships Opportunities
The college doesn't offer any internships. Though there are several paid training that takes place. HMR offers VAP (Value Added Program) once a semester. In this program, they get the trainers who teach you different languages and technologies like Android App development, Machine Learning with Python.
Placement Experience
There are several companies that visit the campus. The placement process starts from the 7th semester. The eligibility of students to sit in the placement depends on the company. Usually, everyone who has a minimum percentage of 60% with no active backlogs is eligible.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the college are as per the GGSIPU guidelines. For the 2020 batch, the first-year fees were approximately 110000 excluding the transportation fees, which is quite affordable. As I am a general category student, so there is no scholarship program available for me.
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest is Emblazon which generally happens at the starting of March. The tech fest is conducted twice a year (once in a semester). The library has almost all the books of the curriculum which you can issue at the starting of the semester. The classrooms are nice and clean. There are several societies running in the college like the dance society, the literary society. Students have started IEEE as well.
