GCETTB Review

It was a very fluent process. We didn't have to face any difficulty regarding the admission, Admission criteria are we need to secure a rank of 4000-10000 rank in WBJEE. Then there is three-step counseling via which the college seats are provided as per the rank one is getting. Then we need to pay a seat acceptance fee to the WBJEE E-Counseling board and then our seat gets reserved and further evaluation is done in the college by providing our necessary documents.

I did choose this course because nowadays everything is related to technology. We are approaching a technical world. Faculties here are top class with very understanding nature and the facilities are having PhDs in their respective subject from renounced institutes. Term exams are within 5 months and they were quite difficult to pass, of course, engineering is tough.

The internship is not there as much in our college. We need to go through some third party for getting internships such as Internshala, and many different such things. NIIT is one such company that gives the internship opportunity.

From 3rd year a student becomes eligible for campus placement. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Raymond, etc many companies visit the college for placement. The highest package was 15Lpa and the average is 4-5 LPA. 50-60 percent of students get placement. I plan to sit for the government exams after getting the degree.

Well, the fees are very nominal and yes the scholarship programs are there which are provided by the Government of India and the Government Of West Bengal under certain conditions. Placement is good as per the college.

Life at the campus is awesome with all the basic to better amenities provided by the college. Fests such as tech and cultural are organized. Libraries have books available in ample. Co-Curricular Activities are there too and of course, the sports ground is too much big with all the facilities of sports equipment.
