Remarks
I applied for many colleges under DU, IP University, Bhartiya Vidyapeeth but as soon as the result came out and saw my percentage it was to get admission in colleges of Delhi University as you have to just check the cut-off list if you fall under any college make sure whether it's an evening or morning college. Step 1: Go to College (Admission Block) Step 2: Collect College form and pay the Form fee. Step 3: Fill in all the details with passport size photos and photocopies of your mark sheet and certificates. Step 4: Wait for your turn, make sure you have original documents with you in Envelop (provided by college). Step 5: Give all the documents when they ask, and wait. Step 6: It's all done you don't have to do anything else. If you face any problem or confused with anything don't worry, there will be volunteers who will help you out in filling all the forms and all but don't give them any money, if they ask for it. Note: If you are reserved category, make sure to bring SC/ST/OBC docs
Course Curriculum Overview
As am from a commerce background and I wanted to enjoy my college that's why I opted for B.Com but if you are serious about the future opt for B.com(H). Faculty is nice, they don't want you to bring heavy books with you, just photographs or whataver easy for you to carry if not, they always click questions pics and send it to class WhatsApp groups in class you don't have to worry about books and all. There is no doubt the faculty of Delhi University is highly qualified as there are exams which they have to qualify before teaching students. Faculty is qualified and if I talk about the Teaching method it's more of a subjective thing, it varies from person-to-person but you won't find it hard to understand they teach in the mixed language of Hindi-English except for English certainly. And Exams are on time I didn't notice if any one the exam got delayed or anything else due to any condition but make sure you check your exam dates properly and DU Exams are versy easy to pass, buy a 10 year and thats enough.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is quite affordable I did Bcom under 50k incl. course fee, exam fee, and all. The first-year fee was high compared to 2nd and 3rd but it depends some college's fee are lower than this it's your choice to choose college according to fee and if I talk about scholarships there isn't much financial assistance. If you are rank 1, you might get some but in next year. I don't think you should rely on scholarships and for details, you can check the college website ssnc.com About placements, they don't have many placements to offer, 3-4 companies arrived at my time for placements like Jio. But I didn't go there for a job interview with Sam with the internship you have to check the college website for regular updates on placements and internships.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is amazing, College has two campuses OLD Building and New Building, Old Building Campus is quite huge compared to New while New Building Campus is quite well developed all fest and everything is held there only. But both campuses have their charm and vibes. You get to feel old Rural Feeling in Old with trees all around you. At first, you might feel bad but you then realize it's better New. And If you don't feel in Old you can go to New, nobody's gonna stop you. And Soon Old building will be transferred to New as the college has acquired land for it. When it comes to fests, they are amazing you get to take part in many competitions and clubs, big and small each and every type from Dancing to PUBG and they do have Prize money, it depends on the competition. But make sure to take part in as many as possible because later you might win money or none other coupons which you can exchange at food counter get free food.
