The college is quite average the management is very weak of the college they keep on changing their words frequently.
Entrance Preview
I got admitted Here through WBJEE. My rank was around 15000. I opt for this college because i was selected for it in counselling. And since it is a branch of Techno India which is pretty famous in Kolkata , I took admission in it i opted for electronics and communication because i had a interest in elcectronics and semiconductors.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed by WBUT. WBUT Is a renowned university that provides affiliation to colleges in Kolkata. It is now known as M A K A U T. the course is divided into 8 parts . each being a semester. In each semester There are 10 subjects. the course is very well designed in order to provide us the methods and technique while we will be the engeneers.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college does provide the internships but since i am new to this colllege, i do not have any experience regarding this.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are average it does provide placement to maximum no of students. nut with average salary of 3-4 lakhs. which is not very high but is similar with the placement status of most of the collegs in Kolkata. the placement of ECE and CSE is good. But the placement of old branches Mechanical and civil faces problems.
College Events
The events are generally large and well managed, Teachers day celebration, Freshers 2016 - It happened for us , the party was grand and everything was good, I & WE ENGAGEMENTS Robotics Worshhop - It is a very good program for engineers as it helps to study the electronics chips and work with them.. the participation is allowed to all the students whether belonging to or not to the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The structure is well designed. We have to pay the fees semester wise for every semester it is about 40000. the fees structure is all total feasible. It does not harm the economic of a middle class family. The fees structure is provided by the college registrar. It is not mentioned in the website that's i think is a problem for us.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provide scholarship for west bengal domicile having people with bad financial condition. The loan has been offered to me by a bank.
Campus Life
Campus Life the field there is very small most of the part of the land is just buildings the environment around campus is good gender Ratio - the ratio of boys to girls is about 60:40 diversity the students are mainly from bengal, some from bihar and jharkhand the college lacks sports events but is having technical events.
Hostel Facilities
I don't avail hostel/mess facility of the college. In fact the college does not have any hostel facility. We all have to live in private hostels or as paying guests.But the region around college is very good. there are a number of hostels and pgs available. So there is no problem of accommodation.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are helpful in understanding the college environment they provide with the equipment's if needed.
Exam Structure
the semester is of 6 months the final semester is the end of 6 months the two internal exams is between them also the practical exams are just before semester exam. So it becomes a little bit hectic. But that should have to compelled as all the colleges throughout India follows this pattern.
Admission
The WBJEE form was released in around DECEMBER 2015. I filled up the form , payed the registration fees . then i went on preparing for it. then admit card were released . its print was taken from net , then exam was held. i gave the exam and the result came to be as the rank of around 15000. then the counseliing form was released . i filled it and then waited for the college selection. first i got Techno inida Durgapur. then i had to visit shibpur my center to pay seat approval fee and apply for further upgradation of college in second round of counselling i was given a seat in Techno India Rajarhat with a branch of Electronics And Communication ENGENNERING.. THEN I APPROVED the seat and took admission from the college.
Faculty
honestly there is lack of teachers in this college because this college is a newly opened branch of Techno India University. It is expected that in coming few years there will sufficient teachers the teachers which are currently present are up to standard.
