Hard work always pays us in good returns

I have directly opted for SSCHM, as it was my first preference. The admission criteria were very simple age-17& 60%. The admission process was very helpful each and every faculty was always available to provide help and it was very easy to approach admin directly and on calls.

I always wanted to do Hotel Management as it was a different course and provided practical knowledge. The faculty members are very helpful & always ready to help, guidance was very much helpful in all aspects. The practicals were very interesting and knowledge gaining. We could experiment with many things and learn new dishes. Digital classes for theory basis & best books provided in the library. We had 2 semesters yearly and 4 Internals yearly and slip tests weekly basis. It was always easy to pass each and every subject was easy to understand & grasp the knowledge.

Taj Falaknuma Palace worked in all the major departments including Sales & Marketing/ Learning & Development. 4 months stipend was 5000/- which was paid at the end of training. The project was a group project given to all the students working in one hotel. The project report had all the information & knowledge gained by the students & also ppt presentation was given individually. Each task had been marked.

The students were eligible for the campus from the 5th semester (Final year). Reliance Retail, Taj hotels, Marriott, Novotel, lemon Tree & many more Hotels and Food joints. 70% of students got placed in different properties. I was always interested in HR so went for MBA after my graduation.

The fees were minimal as we got minimum time for every semester to pay the fees. The fee structure included our lunch, practical’s material, collage uniform, kitchen kit etc. I got good experience in all the major departments/ Sales & Learning and Development. The stipend was 5000 for 4 months. Overall it was a great experience to work with the Taj property.

Every year we had many fests & events in our college Annual day Celebrations Caking mixing, Food Festival, Freshers, Farewell, Jobothon and Rotract events (12 events yearly). As part of the Rotract club, we use to go to old age homes & orphanages (which was overwhelming as I was always part of the team). All the festivals with good competitions take place in the college. We received all our books & journals in the college library. We had good facilities in our classroom with a projector, AC etc. We have sports days for 2 days in our college & playground. All the students participate & have good fun. Rotract club with the guidance of our facility.
