Well RCOEM is really a good college to persue your Bachelor's degree for the following reasons the collegeis ranked 87th amongst Engineering colleges of India, including IITs, NITs and govt colleges it has s good placements percentage ( comparatively IT and CS along with E branches get a good job opportunities than Core branches like Civil, Electrical nd Industrial, Mech) Teachers here ae helpful to the students.They help the students in getting internships and encourage the students for research oriented projects. International exposure RCOEM has MOUs with many foreign universities. I had a friend who has been to a foreign university for 1 semester students Crowd Here have students from various parts of India. The college has its various clubs includig Dance club, Drama, Music, Photography, technical, Robotics etc

I had given MHT-CET in which I scored 130 out of 200. I opted this college because of its good placement record and autonomous curriculum.

The curriculum is good. The syllabus designed for the programme is descriptive and relating to the current technology reducing the gap between practical and theoretical knowledge. The practicals included in the course are based upon the theory. Workshops are also conducted so as to have proper exposure to the technology.

The students selected by Infosys were given extensive training jointly by the experts from the company and the college under the campus-connect foundation programme. Prof. Mangesh Wanjari from CSE Department coordinated the activity the students selected by ITC Infotech Ltd. Were provided the training in java and wind-chill software by the trainers from the company.

Training and Placement function provides a window of opportunities to the students over a wide variety of careers in a broad spectrum of Industries/Organizations in India and Abroad. It serves as a single point of contact for the organizations on various Industry-Institute initiatives like Industrial Training, Guest Lectures, FDP’s, Alumni Lectures.

Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management, Nagpur in collaboration with DELNET, New Delhi, jointly organized an One-Day Workshop on DELNET: “Resources, Services & Facilities and Open source software for libraries” on Tuesday, the 15th November, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. More than 114 Library professionals, Library and Information Science students and Research scholars from various institutions, from Maharashtra & Neighbouring States, registered and actively participated in the Workshop. The workshop was held with an objective to enable the participants to gain knowledge of access to various e-resources and online services provided by DELNET and thus to provide expert assistance to users; to train the participants in adopting open-source software for library automation purposes, etc. Many events took place in our college such as WAD,Pratushruti,Prerna etc.

There is loan facility in the college. The college also provides scholarship to the students who topped the semester exams.

RCOEM emphasizes upon Simple living and high thinking with discipline in life.All the students at RCOEM have to abide by the code of conduct. RCOEM is Ragging Free and has various committees and cells like Disciplinary committee, Anti ragging committee, Cell against sexual harassment and gender violation etc. Code of Conduct Anti Ragging Woman Empowerment cell Transcript/Verification Disciplinary Committee Cell against Sexual Harassment Affidavit for Minority format Grievance Redressal Students Welfare & Counselling Cell.

The Institute provides excellent hostel facility within the campus for the students who wish to avail the campus residential facility. The boys’ hostel is located at the rear end of the college while the girls’ hostel is situated near the Ramdeobaba templeThere are two hostel buildings for boys’ with a capacity to accommodate around 433 students. The mess facility is also very good giving fresh food two times in a day.

The RCOEM ALUMNI ASSOCIATION is dedicated to bring together the Alumni fraternity on a common platform to build a bridge of personal and professional support to members through 'self help' within community. The important objectives of the Association are to promote and foster mutual beneficial interaction between the Alumni, present students of RCOEM and between Alumni themselves. Various workshops such as DELNET are being conducted by the alumni for the students of their college.

Institute has constituted Examination Committee as per direction no. 3 of 2016 issued by Rashtrsant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University and the provision made in the XII Plan of U.G.C. guidelines for autonomous colleges. The examination committee consists of the following members.

I got admission in this college through Centralised admission process. I was given admission in the basis of submission of 12th marksheet and leaving certificate and CET score card. Based on my CET score merit list was prepared by the committee. As per the preferences given by me in the option form and the cut off list of RCOEM I was allotted this college.

Faculty, Non Teaching staff, Administrators, Management - as well as our students - each have have their part to play in flexible, improvisational composition of the RCOEM community, but the key to this model is that faculty must be active leaders and participants in the change. The individual achievements of faculty members are paramount to any educational institution's success, but the work that they do as members of RCOEM community is equally vital in creating the benefits that technical education brings to our society.
