Remarks

I certainly miss those days but well would those days have not ended i would not have been able to decipher the value they held for me which i certainly feel now.

Entrance Preview

It was right after CBSE boards and the College had a strong merit based selection which was indeed a reflection of its standards of knowledge imparting procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The structure was indeed an elaborate and explicit insight of the program on marketing and commerce in general. I am cent percent certain it brought about the right clarity in establishing the base of education one would essentially require to understand and connect multitude of subjects that would be taught in future in PG courses.

Internships Opportunities

Not indeed. Although i did hear of a placement cell helping in securing some internships, but in my batch it was more of an individual effort. You had your own networks through which you could end up experiencing a whole lot of new deal about things.

Placement Experience

3

Yes, this is where improvement could have been brought about. The placement cell in collaboration with efforts of students was capable enough in bringing some companies home for placement but a framework to appear for such placements lacked, which indeed resulted in lack of preparation.

College Events

4

Year and year over, the college fest only had its standards raised up when i vividly remember the second year ie 2012 the fest was cancelled due to a stampede and the then student body did not do much about it. But that got compensated in the final year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is Delhi University my friends! If it can get any more feasible than this then you are probably sacrificing on the quality of not just education but also the cumulative inputs towards your development. It is the return on investment one needs to associate with while entering such colleges and the worth that a well DU college adds is good.

Fees and Financial Aid

No such oan facility is offered by the college but then i did come across some students during the dramatics auditions who were o a complete free education program sponsored by the state government for their states. It only instilled a much bigger sense of pride wherein my colleagues were privileged because they had talent and skill.

Campus Life

2

The gender ratio was decently maintained in certain courses of the college. There was although a course based biased towards the "niche" courses regarded as the "tom-toms" of Delhi University. Such courses usually are well defined by the gender segregation composition along with the quality of thought process you would find around among such students. ( No pun intended).

Hostel Facilities

2.5

There was no such hostel in our campus, but the canteen had some of the most famous momos throughout the meal panels of the entire unviersity block. The south campus was known for canteens of Bhagat Singh and Venkateshwara. However, we the home students knew more about the corner joints and those saucey noodles and parathas that would make us miss them days even more.

Alumni/Alumna

I personally am not in touch with many of the senior students, well the interaction was more inclined towards those sharing similar interest than that of the batch mates or juniors or seniors. College events were likely to define your hangout groups than the classes you were being a part off.

Exam Structure

Well, it is Delhi University, you did end up rushing your revision patters in the last couple of days but then that's where the fun lied. Although we had a having a firm grasp of those subjects we liked , yet the element of competition was such that most if not all were rushing through those 10 years in the last days.

Admission

The legendary famous - Delhi University Cut Off's Criteria was the deciding factor for me it entailed a clear demarcation of the hardwork one would put in board examinations along with extra curricular involvement. First day of the list declaration i was in the que for filling up the admission form and then there we were notified by the administration.

Faculty

3.5

Words are not enough to enchant their potions that were leveraged to us. For sure, every year i had some teachers who would burn my case up and make me stand out of the class rooms for being less of a dork. But, for those handful of faculties who went out of there constant way in helping me understand more about developing an all round personality was the biggest gold i could have in college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
