Remarks
I live in Faridabad, and the college is situated near my locality so, I preferred this college. Before this, I have applied for Chandigarh university but in order to take admission over there, I was supposed to take a hostel. No, I haven't take any kind of Kota. I am from the general category. The admission criteria are a very easy process, they'll look at your 10th and 12th marks. On behalf of that, you'll get admission. To take the specialization course you must have 75% above in the 12th and 10th exams. It is not important that you have given jee or not. Just go to their site, give MRNAT( a test to get a scholarship) and you are good to go.
Course Curriculum Overview
Nowadays this field is in booming stage, Big packages and informative content attracts you to this course. This is the reason I choose this. I am not sure about that, but on average, I guess it's 5 students on 1 teacher and it's pretty good actually. Most of the teachers are from the Ph.D. level, some are at the Master's level. The exams are divided into 3 parts, 2 sessionals, and 1 final. 2 sessionals were held within a 1-month gap and so do the finals. The level depends on students, some find it very easy, but for some, it's an Everest. Trust me.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are from Paytm, Xebia, Goldman Sachs and, many more and they offer a really good amount. The amount is around 4k to 5k. Students are satisfied with this and even the companies who come to recruit. Projects are real-life projects and offer a real company environment.
Placement Experience
For student placement, the college has its own placement cell, which helps one to groom according to the company's desire. From sem 7 onwards the placement starts. A lot of companies come to college and offer a good amount. The highest package was 10LPA and the average is around 5 to 6. overall every student gets placed at college placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study is on medium level, I would say it is okay for a middle-class family, Every year for freshers there is a hike for about 5-10% in fees structure, but for the rest of the students, the fees structure remains the same, like that of 1st year. If you get 80% or more in your 12th exam you'll get a 50% scholarship on total fees, but if it is above 90 then 100% on tuition fees. If your family has NIl earnings then by showing a Card, you'll get 100% off on tuition fees. But in order to maintain the scholarship, you must achieve a 7.5 cgpa.
Campus Life
In recent covid times, We were unable to go to college, but the time I used to go to college, the amount of fest and tech fest was at boom. Every month, every festival was celebrated, apart from Raksha Bandhan. Tech fest was like heaven for teachers and students. The libraries are best, and it really provides every book that one can need. The classrooms are fully aired conditioners. The space is very large and wide. Nobody can feel restless.
