Remarks
I applied at Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan for my graduation in B.Tech in Computer Science.The admission criteria is based on your marks in board exams and also the entrance exam conducted by Banasthali Vidyapith.All the admission process was quite long but was completed in a single day.After that you have to move to hostels on the alloted dates.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took the B.Tech in Computer Science course because I was always keen about coding and wanted to do the same.I found Banasthali Vidyapith a good option for doing the course.Faculties over here are good and some of them make studying very interesting.Many of the teachers are qualified from big institutions like IIT too.First semester of the year is of 6 months and other of 4 months.The final semester exams are taken in the last month of the same.If you study the notes properly made during lectures then it is easy to pass and score good in your exams.
Internships Opportunities
Many students do internships in different companies and even in big government institutions like DRDO.Some students even do their internship in Banasthali Vidyapith itself.The internships are both of paid and unpaid categories.Students get a lot of benefit by making good projects during their internship.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are done in the final year of the course.Many companies like Goldman Sachs,TCS,Flipkart and even Microsoft have visited the campus for placements.The average package here is 3-5 lakhs.The highest package offered was above 20 lakhs.Most of the students get the campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees over here is more affordable as compared to other private colleges.Hostel charges are also of a affordable price.Students are also provided with scholarships and financial aids for their studies.Some PhD students even earn from the campus itself by teaching and manage to give their fees.
Campus Life
From the last few years, authorities have worked a lot in improving the infrastructure of the campus and the hostels.A lot of fests are conducted for students entertainment.The biggest fest of Banasthali Vidyapith,The Apaji Fest is held in the month of November.The campus comprises of a great number of libraries for the students.The sports activities are done in the early morning and in the evening after the classes.There are many clubs for students to join and enrich their Hidden talents.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels infrastructure is improving by the time.New hostels are quite good.Students are provided with wall fans or ceiling fans in the room.The menu has a lot of variety to it.Food is good on Tuesdays.The registration process of hostels is done on the same day when the admission process is done.The hostels here are quite affordable.
