I have applied for Pillai and Saraswati college of engineering in New Mumbai. As I want a good college with studies and also the infrastructure that's why I visited physically Anjuman I Islam's Kalsekar Technical Campus and I loved the campus and hospitality there. No, I haven't applied for any quota for admission. There were a few quotas available but I didn't opt for them as I was eligible easily. Minimum marks in 12th board were Physics+Chemistry+maths marks should be 150 or above. CET marks should be above 40. JEE main marks should be positive marks. Age should be 17-21. FC facilitation center was opened at our college which was responsible for counseling of students regrading admission and courses.

I have chosen mechanical engineering because I want to pursue engineering in physical engineering which involves civil and mechanical. That's why I chose it mechanically. The faculty-student ratio is 420: 25. As mechanical takes 120 students per batch. The faculties here are very much qualified and worth learning from. The last qualification is master's and many faculties are doing Ph.D. too. The teaching method is through PPT or physical presentation. Industry visits are once a year. Laboratories are quite good and new equipment. Term exams are scheduled at end of the semester and difficulty is moderate.

Internships are mainly offered without paying interns. You need to work for free for around 15 days to 1 month. Some students go to the CNC machine shop floor for quality checking. Some go for AutoCAD drafting and designing. Internships are mostly referred from the Training and placement office TPO. Students also get internships from references of faculty and their relatives.

Students become available after clearing the 6th semester of their course. Students need to maintain a CGPA of 7 throughout engineering. While giving interviews there shouldn't be live KT. TCS, Infosys, Kirlosk, Tech Mahindra, Saudi Azam, and Jio are some of the companies which visit campus and recruit students for placement. Lowest package 1.8Lpa, Average packed 3Lpa, Highest package 7Lpa. 10-12% of students are placed from the whole college. I will be finding some analysis jobs and grow in that field. Later if needed I'll go for higher studies.

The fees structure is 80500 per year complete fees. You should be paying the same fees every year. As this is a four-year program every year 80500? should be paid. University fees are 3000 which includes examination fees. 3 scholarships are provided. (1) Central government (30k) (2) State government(25k) (3) EBC scholarship(36k). Placement is done mostly in the production department with a minimum package of 1.8Lpa to 7Lpa. Tech Mahindra and Saudi Azam is the best company for the recruitment of mechanical engineers. Good packages are offered.

BONHOMIE and FUERZA are two big fests organized in our college. It takes place in February and goes for around 10 days. There are 50+ events to participate in and to win around 3lacs prize total. The library is very big and spatial consisting of almost every book which is required for the whole campus and varieties of authors' books are available there. Amenities are also available. Like a projector for e-learning. The courtyard is there for basketball and football. The cricket ground is in the back of the college where most of the outdoor sports are played. DSC computer science group helps students learn programming in an easy way. NSS group of young students are there.
