Remarks

The admission process was quite easy as everything was done online. Some important documents were required like the 10th and 12th mark sheet at the time of verification. Otherwise all the processes went smoothly and efficiently.

I chose this course because I want to enter the world of banks and investment and therefore by my research, B.Com Hons was the most suitable course to guide me to my future. Faculty to student ratio is average with 1 teacher having a class of 60 students. The faculty is well qualified.

Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided to students securing 6 SGPA and above. An internship cell is also there to regularly send updated notifications of the opening of internships in the corporate world and at time of placements, companies also offer internships with placement offer later.

Placement Experience

The average of more than 60% students gets placed each year with an average package of 3 LPA and with highest package of 8 LPA. Recruiters like KPMG, Deloitte, PWG, Nestle and many more companies are regular recruiters and majority roles offered are Analyst, Accountants and Content Writers.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very affordable in comparison to other colleges as it is a government institute. Universities offer a huge amount of scholarships under various categories and sub-categories. University also accepts students under EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category by providing them overall fees assistance.

Campus Life

College is a hub for fests. Fests like Nukkad Natak, sports fest, cultural fests are conducted regularly. The library is a little small but well equipped. Sports activities are highly encouraged in the campus and many socities such as dance, commercial, financial, investment, photography and of other fields are training students for better tomorrow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
