Remarks

First of all, I have applied to the college Shaheed Bhagat Singh then after the declaration of the 3rd cut off list of Delhi University, I got my admission to Ramjas College. As I belong to the general category so I haven't availed any quota. The admission criteria were very simple if you have cleared the marks of the cut off of your specific programme then you can apply to the college the minimum mark for getting admission in Ramjas College is about 97 percentile. The admission process was though a little hectic for me my signatures have not matched then I have to send a declaration to the college authorities after that I got enrolled in my dream college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The term exams happened after 4 to 5 month's of academic classes as per the calendar of Delhi University. The exam of accounts was very tough though it's not like that you cannot pass the exam if you have done some revision before the exam then it's all you need to crack it.

Internships Opportunities

As I already mentioned, I have not joined any society or internship cell due to my CA studies but some colleagues of mine have joined some internships and they have a very good experience at them like you say they got some extra knowledge, stipend and completion certificate and many more benefits.

Placement Experience

From the final semester of your programme, one became eligible to apply for the campus placement. All big MNCs like Amazon, Google and big 4 auditing firms visit the campus for the purpose of hiring some students. The highest package is about 22 LPA. More than 70% got their jobs every year on college placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike policy is also good as I am studying in a government college that's why the academic fees are very affordable. I didn't get any scholarship from the campus and stipend too as I haven't joined any society and internship cells.

Campus Life

The library of our college is so big and it has all kinds of books in it for all the courses. There is a different sports Complex for the students who are interested in sports. We have proper ventilated classrooms and also there is enough space for everyone and windows.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Ramjas college experience

For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
