The admission process is quite easy. We need to apply for the entrance exam. Exam-based rankings are then used to allocate streams through counselling. You need to have all certificates and other documents on counseling day. I got my stream through subsequent counseling as few candidates didn't report for admissions
Course Curriculum Overview
As I am a diploma holder in electronics and communication engineering, my first preference was always ece but as per my ranking and scores, I got admission in instrumentation and control engineering. As our university is centrally aided, faculty was top class with qualifications of P.hd and m.tech. Term exams were semester-wise every six months which you can easily manage to pass if you have studied thro regular classes.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for campus placements in pre-final semester of the course. Companies like TCS, GVK etc are regular for university campus placements. Average packages around Rs. 4-5 lakhs CTC.
Fees and Financial Aid
As our university is centrally aided, the fee structure was quite affordable and scholarships opportunities from central as well as state govt were easily available. I got a job outside thro my own exams but campus placements for my batchmates were also there.
Campus Life
Annual tech fests do happen every year with different taglines. The library is well maintained for all the students. Amenities in the classroom as ordinary as its a govt university. No website for students run by students is there. Facebook groups are always there.
